Manila rope, 28mm diameter. Three strand yarn construction. This dark brown manila rope can be used around the garden (decking handrails etc). Manila deteriorates less in sunlight (compared to other natural fibre ropes) meaning it is ideally suited to outside applications. The rope will eventually decompose from the inside out so it should not be used to bare any significant load.

We also sell Sisal 28mm and Hempex 24mm for decking/stair handrails. The hempex 24mm is a lot smoother than this manila because it is made from synthetic materials. The Sisal 28mm is another natural fibre rope that is a good deal lighter in colour although it has a slightly rougher texture.
