The Trafalgar Marine U-Bow fender is made from black polypropylene rope woven around a thick rope core. The core is made from four thick polypropylene rope sections bound together and is guaranteed not to degrade over time.

The rope is made in Britain and has a 14 mm medium lay, direct film construction.

This U-Bow fender is meant to be attached to the front or bow of the canal narrowboat.

The fender attaches to the boat by three chain fittings that are interlocked and pass through the middle of the rope core.
