The Trafalgar Marine tipcat fender is made from black polypropylene rope woven around a solid rubber core. The core is made from 100% recycled material and is guaranteed not to degrade over time.

The rope is made in Britain and has a 14 mm medium lay, direct film construction. This tipcat fender is meant to be attached to the back or stern of the canal boat. It is usually combined with a long button fender on boats that have large rudders.

The fender attaches to the boat by two chain fittings that are interlocked and moulded right through the solid rubber core.
