Trafalgar Marine side fenders are made from extruded rubber and are exceptionally tough and hard wearing. The solid rubber tube is made from 100% recycled material and is guaranteed not to degrade over time.

The side fender attaches to the canal narrowboat or barge by a single rope that passes right through the rubber tube and is knotted over a steel washer to stop pull through.

If your boat has small eyelets on the gunnels or grab rail you can purchase our alternative side fenders. They are exactly the same but with a shorter length of 6mm hempex rope.

Trafalgar Marine has now sold over 12,000 of these rubber side fenders! To avoid any losses we advise that you to sail with side fenders up, deploying them only for mooring.
